PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SENDING: If you are writing to ask us to promote your business for free, we won't respond to you. If you would like information on advertising on www.BearsHistory.com, please click here. I enjoy hearing from Bears fans, and like helping people by being a resource on Bears History. However, please know that I don't know players, coaches, staffers, former players, former staffers, former coaches, former Honey Bears, former coaches of the Honey Bears, or where they live, can't get them to sign things for you or pass along messages to them. I'm just a guy that loves this subject--I have no connection to the Bears or the NFL, as much as I'd love to have that.  Why did I just type all that?  Because I get asked that stuff all the time.
I hear from a lot of people that think a distant relative played for the Bears 50 years ago, and want me to send photos, tell them details about their career, confirm that they played for the Bears, etc. In most cases, my only resource is the Bears' all-time roster which is freely available for you to research. If a name isn't on that roster, I can't help you further, as much as I'd like to.
If you have Bears memorabilia for which you're looking to determine value, I can't help you. I know nothing about the value of memorabilia. You should look for an appraiser in this area if this is what you're looking for.
Before you ask a basic question like what the GSH means on the Bears' uniforms, please read my BearsHistory Bits or Chicago Bears Uniform History pages. All the basic questions should be answered there.  I don't mind e-mailing you back, but you'll get the answer a lot quicker that way.
If you're thinking of writing to ask for a copy of one of my Bears videos, I'm sorry, I can not sell them and as much as I'd like to, I can't make a copy for everyone that asks. And I've had a lot of people ask. I respond to every reasonable message I get, but since I've repeated this disclaimer all over this site, don't expect to get a response if you're asking for a copy of a video or DVD.  Sorry.  There are some good sports video trading message boards on the Internet if you'll search, and if you can find someone there that would like to make copies for people, great.  If you're a collector like me and might want to trade, please let me know.
I'm sorry, but I can't respond to requests to "CALL ME IMMEDIATELY!" I'm happy to respond to any reasonable question or request via e-mail. I basically work two jobs as it is, and am not running customer service for a business here.
That being said, after you've read the disclaimer above, feel free to email me using the address above or by filling out the form below.  If you have a question or comment that is not one of the items covered above, I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can.  Sometimes I answer e-mails the same day, sometimes it takes a week.  Sorry, it doesn't do any good for you to tell me I have to get back to you immediately, because I'll always get back to you as soon as my schedule allows.
